Newer fire-rescue vehicle purchased

On Jan. 20, the Watch Lake/North Green Lake Volunteer Fire Department (WLGLVFD) purchased a newer one-ton crew cab truck for fire rescue.

This truck will have a dual purpose.

It will be a first-responder vehicle with the necessary equipment, such as stretchers, oxygen, first-aid equipment, etc.

During the forest-fire season, it will hold a 200-gallon water tank, foam, hoses, and firefighting equipment for rapid emergency response to fires.
